Conserve Energy

Only put the required amount of water in a kettle to boil.

Adjust room thermostats for different heating / cooling situations, 20º in winter (heating), and 25 º in summer (cooling). Install a gas condensing boiler instead of an electrical one. Electricity is a very inefficient energy source, it is estimated for every 100 units of fossil fuel used to generate electricity only 22 units are effectively used. Install solar water heating

About Us

We are a British family business based in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz, Spain.

The directors of the company have many years of experience in design, engineering, project management, site supervision and construction encompassing housing, offices, refurbishment, schools etc. both in the UK and abroad.

Stan Still is a chartered Civil and Structural Engineer who started his professional life working on building services (air conditioning, electricity, water, heating, drainage, gas etc.) before moving into consultancy work for civil and structural projects. He later spent time as chief engineer for a Saudi architectural practice, a design/build contractor and later the transportation and installation of oil rigs and other marine structures worldwide. Throughout his life he carried out building development work under his own private practice both for himself and other clients.

Mark Headland is a qualified carpenter who commenced working on construction contracts for houses, schools, offices and retail developments. He then started his own contracting company performing timber related projects eventually encompassing complete scopes of work including foundations through to final finishes.

We are members of TRADA, the Timber Research and Development Association of the UK, a leading authority on timber and its products for construction purposes.
